Glenn House, 325 South Spanish, Girardeau, Missouri

The house completed in 1883 and lived in by the David
Glenn family until 1915, is a house museum.  It is an
example of the Victorian (1860 - 1900) period lifestyle
that includes the architecture, furnishings, clothing
fashions, and mores of the period.  In addition, the
house reflects some fashion details of the time through
the departure of the Glenn's in 1915.  The Glenn House
is a place allowing visitors an opportunity to visit a
"world lived in by earlier generations whose way of life
were different from our own."
